Exercise 2: Read the sentences above about Philippe Sebald’s working routine and make notes in his diary.

Philippe         : Yes, can I help you?
Birgit                           : Your secretary has placed an order of some office equipment. Can we
                     meet to talk about the terms of payment?
Philippe         : Let me see my schedule first. Hmm…I can meet you next Tuesday.
Birgit                           : Tuesday is OK with me. Is three o’clock in the afternoon possible?

Dialog 4: On the phone
Bruno             : Hello, this is Bruno speaking.
Philippe         : Hi, Bruno. Are you in town already?
Bruno             : No, I’m still in California. But I’ll be in town this weekend. How about a

Bruno             : Two forty-five? Three o’clock?
Philippe         : Well…..
Bruno             : I know, I know, it’s Sunday but….I hope it’s OK with you.
